Rules: USSSA 10C Rules
Pre-Game & Coin Toss: Pre-game meeting is at home plate, 5 minutes before game start time. Head Coaches must be present. Umpire designates one Head Coach to call coin toss. Winner of coin toss selects “Home” or “Away”.
Time Limit: 80 minutes hard stop (no finish the inning).
Run Limit: Note USSSA 10C Rules for 5-run limit. “5 run limit per inning shall be imposed on any inning that begins less than 60-minutes from the start of the game. All subsequent innings shall have no run limit. The plate umpire will note when the 60-minute time mark is reached in the game.” Unlimited runs must start at the top of the inning. 80-minute hard stop applies.
Last Inning: Based on Time Limit and Run Limit guidance above, after 60 minutes, the next top of the inning starts unlimited runs AND is the final inning.
Pool Play Rankings: Placement in pool play will be determined by W-L Record first, then Run Differential, then Runs Against, then Runs Scored. Example: two teams are tied 2-0 after pool play. Team 1 won their first game 10-7 and won their second game 2-1. Team 2 won their first game 9-6 and won their second game 14-13. Team 1 is in 1st place because they have a lower Runs Against number.
