Drop-In & Tryout Registration

2023-2024 Storm Softball Winter Workouts

10U and 12U players seeking to train or experience a travel softball practice are welcome. We can accommodate up to 4 additional, non-rostered players per practice.

Annual tryouts in July of each year are free.

Practice drop-in cost is $25 for outdoor practices and $35 for indoor practices throughout the year. Payment can be made via Venmo to: @DowningtownWestGirlsAthletics.

What can you expect at practice?

Practices are based on developmental need at the given time. In general, however, you will see the following depending on the day:

Jog, Stretch, Catch
Hitting Stations – Tee, Soft/Side Toss, Microball machine, Jugs machine, Pitcher live pitch
Pitching
Infield
Outfield
Position-specific training (e.g. Catcher, 1B, middle infield, outfield)
Baserunning
Strength and Conditioning
